MEMBERS/SCHOOLS

IDEA specializes in soliciting industrial inventory donations from manufacturers to be placed at non-profit technical schools for use in training unskilled financially disadvantaged youth to become highly trained productive workers. We only accept new items that can be used at qualified non-profit schools.

After a donation is received at our warehouse, we sort items by product type, then store in high-density warehouses until distributed to member schools. IDEA will notify members when new donated inventory has arrived.

Qualified schools pay a small annual membership fee to participate in our donation program. All members must agree to use any inventory according to Internal Revenue Code 170(e)(3) stating that the inventory received must be used in the care of the ill, the needy or minors and cannot be sold, traded, or bartered.

Members may submit an Idea Wishlist requesting the items most needed by current classes

Donated inventory is available by pallet or by truckload. Related distribution/handling fees apply for each shipment.
